How we protect your information
This page is maintained by The Director's Table to answer common security and privacy questions about our membership platform. It describes the controls we have in place today — it is editable project content and is not an independent certification.
Confidentiality
Discussions around The Director's Table are confidential to the members present. Application content, introduction requests, and internal notes are visible only to authorised administrators of The Director's Table.
Authentication & access control
The platform uses email/password and Google sign-in. Member, guest, and administrator privileges are managed through a server-side role system; access checks run on the server before any sensitive data is returned. Adviser contact details and internal business fields are never returned to general members through the public data layer.
Data we collect
When you apply or request an introduction we collect your name, contact details, and the business context you provide. See our Data Policy for the full breakdown, including how long we retain applications and how to request deletion.
Hosting & infrastructure
The website and database are hosted on managed cloud infrastructure provided by Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase). Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS and at rest by the hosting provider. The Director's Table is responsible for the application logic, content, and access policies on top of that platform.
Subprocessors
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service: Lovable Cloud / Supabase for hosting, database, and authentication; Google for optional single sign-on; and email providers used to respond to applications and enquiries. We do not sell member data and do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Cookies & analytics
The site uses only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to operate core functionality. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Requests are handled by The Director's Table directly.
Reporting a security concern
If you believe you have found a security issue affecting The Director's Table, please contact us so we can investigate. We will respond promptly and treat reports in confidence.
Shared responsibility: Lovable Cloud provides platform-level security controls (hosting, encryption, authentication primitives). The Director's Table is responsible for membership policies, application content, and how member data is used. Members are responsible for safeguarding their own account credentials.
